Bhagwati Stainless Steel Parat is the wide, shallow bowl used across Indian kitchens for kneading atta, whisking batter, marinating, tossing salads and washing dal and rice. The generous flat base gives you a stable surface to push dough against without the bowl skidding on the counter, and the low sloping walls let you work with your whole hand instead of fighting a deep bowl. The rolled outer rim adds stiffness so the parat holds its shape under kneading pressure and is smooth to grip when carrying a full load. Pressed from food-grade stainless steel with a mirror-polished interior that releases sticky dough and batter easily and does not stain from turmeric, beetroot or tomato. Completely non-reactive — safe for overnight fermentation of dosa and idli batter, curd setting and lemon or vinegar marinades. Stacks flat inside the next size up, and doubles as a serving platter or a dough-resting tray under a damp cloth. Dishwasher and refrigerator safe.
